MHSAA Announces Tournament Changes for Soccer, Basketball and Football

Boys Basketball Plays for District Trophy

The varsity boys basketball team knocked off Benzie Central on Wednesday, 62-35, to advance to the championship game today. Aidan Raffaele led Cadillac with 14 points, Evan Borr scored 11, and Cale Mickelson added ten. The Vikings play tonight against host Ludington at 7:00. Tickets for the district game are $6.00. Vikings Start District Play with a Win

The last 20 games don’t mean anything at this point. It’s one and done from here on out and based on Monday’s performance, the varsity boys basketball team isn’t ready to hang up their jerseys just yet. All high school games will be played as scheduled today. -JV/Varsity girls basketball will host McBain. This is our Coaches vs. Cancer game. The varsity boys basketball team traveled south to Essexville-Garber on Tuesday for a triple-header. Despite losing on Monday to Alpena, the boys came out Tuesday ready to play. The varsity boys basketball team faced off with Alpena on Monday in their annual Fan Appreciation game. While Cadillac trailed most of the game, they put up a fight until the final seconds before falling 48-46 to the Wildcats. Alpena held a 15-9 lead after the first quarter.
