The boys varsity bowling team secured their second consecutive Big North Championship over the weekend. They led qualifying by over 400 pins and posted some really great Baker scores including games of 214, 222, and 267. They averaged over 200 for all of their Baker games and really threw quality shots when we needed them most. Traverse City West gave us a scare in the first match play round but Kyle Vermilyea stepped up in the tenth to close the door. We met Gaylord in the finals once again, but cruises to the victory by a margin of 84 pins, throwing 222 for our final game. Kyle Perry led all qualifiers in the individual portion, with Korbin Keller finishing second, Kyle Vermilyea fifth and Brandon Foster came in at 15th. Perry, Keller, and Vermilyea all warned first team all conference awards and Campbell took home second team all conference. The boys open Great Northwest conference play against TC Christian at 11:00 am this Saturday at Lucky Jacks.
