The Cadillac track team hosted the TC West Titans in a dual meet on Wednesday at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
Peace Odiase led the girls’ team with two first place finishes in both the 100m hurdles and high jump, she was also part of the winning 4×200 relay along with Ellie Cool, Madisyn Lundquist, and Julia Jezak. Makenzie Johns won shot put with a throw of 31-01 and Angela Mo won discus with a throw of 86-08. Chloie Musta won the 2 mile race with Kendall Schopieray finishing second. Renee Brines finished second in the 1600 while the relay team of Schopieray, Brines, Cool, and Musta came in second in the 4×800. Reina McMahon jumped her way to a second place finish in high jump at 4-06.
Randy Sanders had the lone first place finish for the boys, throwing a personal best 47-02 in shot put. Derek Rood placed second in the 110m hurdles. The 4×100 relay team of Jakob Bartman, Teegan Baker, Rood, and Aden Gurden also placed second, as did the 4×200 relay team consisting of Bartman, Chris Reinhold, Ben Kohler, and Gurden.
The track team travels to Clare on Friday.
