Boys 7th Grade Basketball, Boys 8th Grade Basketball · Jr High Boys Basketball Tryouts

At this time, we plan to hold Jr High boys basketball try-outs on Monday October 26, 2020. We are still waiting on direction from the MHSAA regarding Winter sports but plan to start on time unless we hear otherwise.

7th Grade will practice at MTMS from 2:30-4:15 on Monday. 8th Grade will practice in the Jr High gym from 3:00-5:00 on Monday. Coach Diener and Coach Main will relay information on the tryout process at the first day of practice. COVID-19 protocols are still in place, such as daily health checks and social distancing. Please make sure athletes bring their own water bottles and masks.

If you do not currently have a child in a Fall sport through the school, please read the information below:
We will be using “DragonFly Max” this year — it will allow us to go almost completely paper-free while keeping track of physicals, medical care, eligibility, and communication among other things. There are two important forms you will need to click on at the bottom of this post. The first will walk you through the sign-up process for DragonFly Max. It can be done on your smartphone or computer. Our school code is EKUQR7. When it asks for your state, select “other” then you will type the code in there. DO NOT just search Cadillac Jr High School.. this will put you in the wrong school.  Please sign up as a parent and add your child under your account, do not sign up under the child’s name.
The second form is a health questionnaire from the MHSAA. Athletes that have a physical on file in the athletic office from last year do NOT need to get a new one for the 2020-21 school year. This is a ONE time deal due to COVID-19. You do, however, still need to fill out the questionnaire. This will be uploaded in place of the physical on your Dragonfly Max account. If there are any “red flag” conditions, we may ask that your child see their physician before participating.  Any athlete that did not get a physical last year (i.e. first time playing a school sport) will still need to get a physical and upload it to DragonFly Max.
Your child needs to have the physical or questionnaire completed before they can practice.
If you have any technical issues while signing up for DragonFly Max, please reach out to their support team by clicking here. If you have questions pertaining to forms or the upcoming sports season, please contact the athletic department. Thank you for your participation.
