Boys Junior Varsity Soccer, Boys Varsity Soccer · Varsity Soccer Tops Gaylord in Final Regular Season Game


The Cadillac varsity boys soccer team battled through a weather delay and heavy rain to steal a 1-0 win on the road at Gaylord. The victory gives the team momentum as they wrap up their regular season and start Districts this Thursday.

The first 45 minutes of the game stayed scoreless. Brendan McRoberts scored the lone goal of the game ten minutes into the second half, assisted by Mike Mollohan. Elliot Lavigne recorded the shutout for Cadillac.

Cadillac’s JV team wrapped up their season with a 2-1 win. Alex King and Zachary Beckhardt scored for the Vikings while Austin Larr recorded an assist. Xander Rickard was in goal for Cadillac.

The Vikings finished fourth overall in the BNC — TC West won the title. Cadillac is at Alpena for the opening round of Districts on Thursday. The game starts at 6:00.
