The Cadillac hockey team held the lead most of the game Wednesday night but the Gaylord Blue Devils came out on top when it mattered the most, beating the Vikings 3-2 in conference play.
Fisher Moore scored the first goal of the night mid-way through the first period, assisted by Ian Lilly and Bryan Farley. Gaylord got on the board in the second period to tie it at one-all before Moore scored again, assisted by Farley, to give the Vikings a 2-1 lead into the third period.
The Blue Devils tied it again mid-way through the third period before scoring the eventual game-winner two minutes later on a power play. Nathan Moore stopped 21 shots on goal for Cadillac.
The Vikings host TC Central on Friday in their final home game of the season, puck drops at 7:00pm.
