Multiple Teams · Vikings Pick Up Road Win Against Ludington

The last time these two teams faced off with each other, Ludington knocked Cadillac out of the state tournament last March. The Vikings weren’t going to let them win again. Despite a slow start for Cadillac, they managed to hand the Orioles a 13 point loss, 50-37.

Ludington started out hot, holding a 17-8 lead after the first quarter. The Vikings locked down on defense after that, allowing the Orioles to score only 20 points over the next three quarters. Cadillac cut the lead to two, 24-22 heading into halftime before outscoring the Orioles 19-5 in the third.

Tipp Baker led the Vikings with 20 points while Cole Jenema scored 14.

Cadillac won the JV game as well, 58-53. Jaden Montague scored 16 and Teegan Baker had 11 for Cadillac.

The freshman team completed the sweep with a 52-39 win. Davin Brown led the Vikings with 19 points and Riley Wade scored 12.

Cadillac hosts TC West on Friday in a key BNC match-up. Cadillac and Ludington could face off again in this year’s district tournament hosted by Cadillac.
