Multiple Teams · Boys Basketball Sweeps Bay City Western

The Cadillac varsity boys basketball team hosted Bay City Central on Tuesday and managed to beat them pretty easily with a 61-37 victory.

The Vikings struggled to hit shots in the first half but still maintained a 24-13 lead at halftime. They extended that lead to 15 after three and scored 21 points in the fourth quarter to hand the Warriors a 24 point loss.

Tipp Baker led Cadillac with 18 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, and 7 steals. Cole Jenema scored 16 points and Levi Klotz added seven.

Cadillac won both the JV and freshman games as well. Aden Gurden paced the JV team with ten points and Teegan Baker scored nine. For the freshman, Keenan Marr led with 13 points while Jacob LaMonde and Derek Rood scored eight each.

The Vikings host Alpena on Friday.
