Multiple Teams · Boys Basketball Opens Season with Road Win

The boys basketball program got their season underway on Wednesday at Saginaw Swan Valley. The varsity team jumped out to a quick start and remained in control all game, winning 52-44.

The Vikings led 13-2 after the first quarter and 23-11 at halftime. They were led by Evan Borr with 16 points while Cole Jenema recorded a double-double with 11 points and 15 rebounds. Levi Klotz also added 11 points for Cadillac.

JV won 70-49 with Jaden Montague leading the Vikings with 23 points while Connor McGowan and Chris Reinhold each contributed ten points.

The freshman team completed the sweep with a 53-30 win over Saginaw Swan Valley.

Cadillac travels to Gaylord on Friday for their first conference match-up of the year. They will host TC Central next Tuesday in their only home game before the New Year **this game was originally away** Freshman/JV will begin at 5:30 with Varsity to follow.
