They had high expectations heading into Regionals on Wednesday and while they didn’t exactly meet those expectations, their results were still impressive considering it’s a first year program! The girls golf team finished fourth in their Division 3 Regional – the top three teams advanced to State Finals.

Regionals were held at Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids. The first time the Vikings played there this year, they shot a 501. This time around, they shaved nearly 100 strokes off their score, finishing with a 406 on Wednesday. Big Rapids won the title with a 331, Whitehall second with 381, and Coopersville took the last spot shooting a 391 on the day.

Madi Drabik led the Vikings with a 97, Molly Anderson shot 98, Chesni Birgy 105, Alyvia Peedle 106, and Livi Meyer 110.
