The varsity softball team dropped two games to Petoskey in a BNC doubleheader on Tuesday. The Northmen won game one 10-0 and game two 8-7.
Ashlyn Lundquist pitched the first game, allowing seven runs on seven hits while striking out three. She also led offensively with two hits while Maggie Staub and Autumn Fosmore each had one hit.
In game two, Alana Hoffert took the loss on the mound. Fosmore had two hits and two RBI’s while Alana Hoffert had two hits and an RBI. Brooklyn Hoffert added two hits while Makayla Knight recorded a hit and RBI. Lundquist added a two-run double and Melodee Eastman a hit.
The JV team lost to Petoskey 11-3 and 19-3.
The varsity team hosts an invitational on Saturday while the JV team goes to Petoskey for a BNC Invite.
