Boys Junior Varsity Baseball, Boys Varsity Baseball · Baseball Splits with Petoskey


The varsity baseball team put together a strong second game to top the Petoskey Northmen on Tuesday – picking up their first BNC win of the season. Cadillac fell 9-1 in the opener but rallied back for the 9-7 victory in game two.

In the opener, Isaac Heyd led the way offensively with a hit and an RBI. Troy Miller, Hunter Burton and Jake Roberts each had one hit apiece. Cale Mickelson took the loss on the mound.

Allan Scheurer picked up the win in the second game. He allowed three earned runs on six hits while striking out four. At the plate, Alex Netzley had three hits and an RBI while Heyd and Scheurer each had two hits. Matt Green and Mickelson each recorded a triple with two RBI’s while Ryan Cox added a hit and Miller an RBI.

The JV team lost to Petoskey 15-0 and 24-0.

The varsity team hosts an invitational on Saturday while the JV team goes to Petoskey for a BNC Invite.
