Boys Junior Varsity Track, Girls Junior Varsity Track · Boys and Girls Track Win Falcon Invitational


It was a day for the underclassmen to shine and both the boys’ and girls’ teams did just that. The Vikings took first on both sides of the Falcon 9th and 10th grade Invitational.

For the boys, Ben Kohler won the 800m run and Logan Boolman took first in 110 hurdles. The 4×100 relay team (Jakob Bartman, Austin Abram, Alan Huang, Carter Harsh) took first as did the 4×400 team (Abram, Bartman, Kohler, Boolman). In field events, Ryan Wood threw 37’7 for first place in Shot Put and Kolher won Pole Vault at 10 feet.

On the girls’ side, Lindsey Tonello won the 100m dash and Kendall Schopieray won the 400m run. Heather Eller took first in the 800 while Peace Odiase won the 100m hurdles. The 4×200 relay team (Julia Jezak, Maddie Guernsey, Schopieray, Eller) won as did the 4×400 team (Tonello, Guernsey, Jezak, Schopieray). Odiase also won the high jump at 4’7 and Tonello won Long Jump at 14’9.

The track team competes at Regionals on Friday at Chippewa Hills High School.
