Girls Junior Varsity Soccer, Girls Varsity Soccer · Vikings Fall to Titans in Key BNC Game

It was a battle for first place as the Vikings held the top spot in the Big North Conference for girls soccer and TC West sat in second place. The first time the two teams met this year, it ended in a 1-1 tie. Cadillac had the home field advantage this time but couldn’t capitalize on it. TC West beat the Vikings 2-0 on Thursday.

The game was scoreless at halftime but the Titans changed that ten minutes into the second half as they scored the first goal of the game. West added the second and final goal of the night with 15 minutes left in the game to secure the win. The win puts the Titans in first place and Cadillac moves to second place.

Cadillac won the JV game 6-1. TC West scored Cadillac’s first goal of the night off a header into their own goal. Ogho Osadiaye scored the next two goals for the Vikings with assists from Lauren Mist and Gracie Tweedale. Alyssa McCully scored from Rachel Divozzo before Lizzy Eash added two of her own, also from Divozzo.

The Vikings play at Gaylord on Tuesday.
