Boys Varsity Bowling, Girls Varsity Bowling · Bowling Team Finishes 3rd at States!

The boys bowling team, in its second year of existence, finished third at the Division 2 State Finals on Friday!  The 3rd place finish is an improvement from last year’s 5th place finish at States. The Vikings fell in the semi-finals to Techumseh who finished second – falling to State Champion New Boston Huron.

The Vikings also had five athletes qualify for the individuals tournament on Saturday. Senior Brandon Foster led the way for Cadillac with a 3rd place finish. He beat New Boston Huron in the opening round before beating the #2 seed from Battle Creek Pennfield in the quarterfinals. Foster then lost to the eventual state champion from Adrian in the semifinals. Behind Foster, Kyle Vermilyea finished 7th on the day. Tyler Campbell took 18th while Korbin Keller finished 32nd. Kaitlyn Vermilyea was the lone girl to qualify for the Vikings — she finished 44th overall.

The Vikings graduate ten seniors: Brandon Foster, Tyler Campbell, Brennen Dagner, Dylan Fauble, Matt Green, Chris Richards, Kaitlyn Vermilyea, Priscilla Williams, Audrianna Hankins, and Abby Kendziorski. Congratulations on another successful season!
