The girls basketball team pushed through a slow first half to pick up a 19 point win over Bay City Central on Tuesday. The Vikings led 7-5 after the first quarter and 15-10 at halftime. Coming out of halftime, the Vikings went on a quick 10-0 run to extend their lead. Cadillac was up 38-19 after three and held on for a 46-27 victory.
Molly Anderson scored 19 points for Cadillac, Makenna Bryant added ten, and Macy Brown 8 points.
Cadillac also won the JV game, 44-32. Kendall Schopieray scored 13 points and Sarah Jenema added 11.
The freshman team completed the sweep with a 51-12 win over the Wolves. Cadillac’s Karis Bachman matched the Wolves with 12 points of her own while Anna Whipple scored nine and Abby Kovacevich had eight.
