Traverse City Central was the pre-season favorite to win the BNC title in boys basketball. But back on December 7th, the Vikings took home a huge victory on our home court, giving the Trojans their first conference loss of the season. Fast forward six weeks to the rematch – this time in Traverse City.
TC Central held the lead most of the game. They were up 14-11 after the first quarter and 27-22 at halftime. The Trojans led 41-40 going into the final eight minutes of the game. Cadillac took over from there, winning 58-51 and handing the Trojans their second conference loss.
Aidan Raffaele and Evan Borr each scored 14 for Cadillac while Tipp Baker added 11 and Cale Mickelson 10 points.
TC Central picked up the win in the JV and freshman games. Cole Jenema scored 12 for Cadillac in the JV’s 47-27 loss. Aden Gurden led the freshman team with 11 points, Ben Drabik scored nine, and Carter Harsh added eight.
Tonight’s home game vs. Big Rapids has been CANCELLED. The boys travel to TC West on Thursday.
