Multiple Teams · Boys Basketball Picks Up Road Win

Over half our points came from 3-pointers. The Cadillac varsity boys basketball team beat Benzie on the road, 50-38, Tuesday night.

The Vikings held a 10-4 lead after the first quarter and extended it to 20-13 at halftime. Benzie kept the game close going into the fourth quarter but Cadillac ran away with it in the end. 27 of Cadillac’s 50 points came from beyond the arc.

Tipp Baker scored 14 for the Vikings, Aidan Raffaele added ten points, and Charlie Runstrom scored nine.

Cadillac’s JV team also came out on top, 61-50. Austin Abram paced the Vikings with 13 points, Connor McGowan scored 12, and Cole Jenema 11.

The freshman team completed the sweep with a 58-42 victory. Carter Harsh scored 15 for the Vikings, Caden Windover added nine, and Gavin Aldrich scored seven.

Cadillac hosts McBain on Tuesday for their Coaches vs Cancer game. All proceeds from the night will go to the American Cancer Society.
