The varsity boys soccer team continues their hunt for a BNC Championship. They have not lost a conference game this season but did tally up another tie on Tuesday against Alpena. It’s their third BNC tie of the season.
Cadillac’s Brendan Phillips scored ten minutes into the game, but the Wildcats held a 2-1 lead going into halftime. With 18 minutes left in the game, Alex Netzley found the back of the net off an assist by Mike Mollohan. That tied the game at 2-2 and that’s where it stayed for the remainder of the game.
Brandon Foster and Garrett Losinski split time in goal.
Cadillac JV scored a big win over Alpena, outscoring the Wildcats 5-1. Sawyer McClure recorded a hat trick while Bryan Farley and Nelson Rider each added one goal apiece. Brady McLaurin had three assists on the day. Farley and Elliot Lavigne each recorded one assist.
Cadillac (11-2-4 overall, 5-0-3 BNC) hosts Traverse City Central on Thursday.
