The girls team made history for Cadillac track on Monday. Cadillac’s 9th and 10th grade girls won the Ogemaw Heights Invitational for the first time ever, winning the event with 138.5 points.
Makenna Bryant won the 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles, while Brooke Kochanny took first in the discus and shot put. Brooke Lorenz won the pole vault at 8-6. The 1600 relay team of Bryant, Gabi Metzger, Kodi Holly, and Chloie Musta also took home gold. Musta placed second in the 400, as did Susie Huckle in the 1600. Peace Osiade placed second in both the high jump and as part of the 400 relay team.
Cadillac boys placed third behind Alpena and Gaylord. Tipp Baker won shot put and discus.
The track team will compete at Regionals on Friday at Chippewa Hills High School.
