Kallie Poulos is a senior at CHS and is a member of the Varsity Girls Basketball Team and is a BNC Honorable Mention All-Conference selection.
Her coach, Mary Kaye Johns, says that “Kallie was one of our captains this season, active in lots of school activities, supporter of our other teams, and a great student. She exemplifies what it means to be a student-athlete at CHS.”
Academically, Kallie carries a 3.96 GPA while taking various AP classes.
In her free time, Kallie enjoys hanging out with friends and attending sporting events. Kallie’s future plans are to attend Grand Valley state University in the fall.
Kegan Brooks is a senior at CHS and is a member of the Boys Varsity Basketball Team. He has been one of the top performers on this year’s team and is an All-Conference and Cadillac News Dream Team member.
His coach, Ryan Benzenberg, states, “Kegan is a 3 year varsity player and a 2 year team captain and was the leader of our basketball team this year. Kegan paced the team in scoring this season as well as leading the team in assists and was 4th in rebounding. That just shows how much of a well-rounded player Kegan truly is. In addition to Kegan’s success on the court, Kegan also carries an impressive GPA in the classroom. Congrats Kegan.”
Academically, Kegan carries a 3.56 GPA and takes college prep courses.
In his free time, Kegan enjoys shooting hoops, hanging out with friends and playing Fortnite. Kegan’s future plans are to attend Mid Michigan Community College in the fall and play basketball for the Lakers.
